Announcement : Roy Coppins
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we have to announce that our dear friend, colleague and Committee Member, Roy Coppins, passed away on Sunday 28th April 2013.
As you all know Roy was Chief Executive Officer of IFASIC VZW, having completed a term as Chairman of the Executive Committee in 2011, he fulfilled his roles outstandingly, not only with his wealth of knowledge of the Fine Art and Specie markets, but it is fair to say that Roy also brought humour and foresight into the progression of our Charity.
Roy leaves behind his wife, Ruth, and two sons, Geoffrey and Christopher, to whom we all offer our deepest condolences and respect.
The funeral service will be on Friday May 17th at Christ Church, William Street, Herne Bay, Kent CT6 5NR at 12.00, midday. It will be followed by interment at Herne Bay Cemetery, Canterbury Road, Herne Bay CT6 7HB.
Roy’s passing has certainly cast a shadow over all those involved with the organisation of the Conference, as well as all our delegates who have had the pleasure of knowing him.
