Brett Marshall Craig is the Managing Director of The Acme Loss Adjusting & Risk Survey Co. S.r.l. based in Milan, Italy. Degree: Bachelor of Arts, Politics and European Studies. During his time at university, Brett’s interest in the various concepts of risk and loss developed and his final thesis was focused on the culture of risk management and its impact on politics and business. After university, Brett chose to pursue a career in the insurance industry, having enjoyed various short-term placements in the years prior. In the 17 years since, he has been adjusting Lloyd’s claims deriving from multiple classes of business. Over the years, he has dealt with corporate and bespoke clients in the handling of high end Motor, Property, Jewellers Block, Cash in transit, Goods in transit, Liability claims in Italy as well as in other countries in mainland Europe. In May 2011 Brett became a Professional Mediator; a skill which compliments his daily activities as an Adjuster. Thanks to thorough investigation and dedication, and by working closely with different police authorities, he enjoys notable success in uncovering fraudulent claims; both mainstream and those perpetrated by organized crime organisations, with some cases making the national news.
