Malta 2022 – Time to Reboot & Reconnect.
After two long years in isolation and working from home, and as the world starts to open its borders again it’s time for us all to Reboot & Reconnect.
We are delighted to announce that the 2022 ifasic event will be taking place on Wednesday 25th May 2022 at the Westin Dragonara Hotel, St Julian’s Malta.
The conference launches with our annual Welcome Drinks on the terrace on the evening of Wednesday 25th. The conference programme is over two days, 26th and 27th May 2022, where our delegates will have an opportunity to attend presentations and workshops being given by some of the world’s leading experts in the fine art and specie area, who will be giving their views on various issues relating to the market today.
Our Venue
Following a very successful Ifasic 2014 at the Westin Dragonara Hotel, we are delighted to announce that we will be returning this year. Located minutes from the centre of St Julien’s, the hotel boasts a self-contained conference facility on its own convention level.
The spacious bedrooms within the hotel are equally as impressive with, flat-screen LCD or plasma TV’s and complimentary Wi Fi internet access.
Once the conference is over, delegates can make the most of the fully equipped fitness centre or enjoy a relaxing in the spa.
The hotel is approximately 20 minutes by taxi from Malta International Airport, Luqa airport.
What to expect
The conference launches with our annual Welcome Drinks on the evening of Wednesday 25th May, this is an ideal opportunity to meet and socialise with other delegates and the speakers prior to the conference’s formal start on Thursday 26th at 09:00.
On Thursday 26th, we begin with presentations from our guest speakers on various subjects and current issues relating to the market. After lunch our delegates will be attending their chosen workshops, presented by further expert hosts.
After a full day of presentations and workshops our delegates and their partners are invited to attend our exclusive Delegate Dinner.
On Friday 27th, we will start the day with workshops followed by further presentations in the main conference room and a delicious lunch. You will then return to the main conference room for further presentations and the event will finish at approximately 16:00.

* €849.00 is based on the first 50 delegates, booked prior to the 15th February. Accommodation is not included in the conference ticket price. Delegates have the option of choosing their accommodation via the ifasic website (www.ifasic.com). The standard conference ticket price without hotel accommodation after the first 50 delegates places sold or from the 15th February, whichever comes first, is €899.00.
** The two conference nights’ accommodation at the chosen ifasic 5* hotel is not included in the ticket price, this is an additional obligatory cost to the delegate. Delegates benefit from a discounted rate which includes breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi, and all taxes. Prices start from as little as €230.00 per night based on a standard room.
Covid-19 Protocols
For your safety, ifasic will be observing all Maltese governmental requirements during the conference. In addition, we are looking to arrange for as many of our workshops and evening events to take place outside where ever possible.

Directions
To Malta
With many airlines operating direct flights to and from Malta International, Luqa Airport, delegates will not be short on choice for their flight.
Getting to the Westin Dragonara Resort
The quickest and easiest way from the airport to the hotel is by taxi, this will cost approximately €27.00 and will take around 20 minutes. Members of our Guest Services Team will greet you upon arrival at the Westin Dragonara Resort Hotel to answer any questions you may have.
Networking
As with all ifasic events, our delegates will get plenty of opportunities to meet, network and socialise with their fellow delegates and the speakers. Our conference kicks off our annual Welcome Drinks at 18:30, on Wednesday, 25th May. During the conference itself, delegates can grab five minutes with that colleague they haven’t spoken to since the pandemic began, or introduce themselves to someone new. The networking opportunities continue into Thursday evening, when delegates will be invited to our exclusive Delegate Dinner.
